How long has it been since you made something with your hands? For the next two weeks, we’re making stuff, and we want you to make stuff too.
You don’t need to own a glue gun, or a dremel drill. The beauty of this project is we technically make stuff every day. Mobile phone photos, sandwiches, passive aggressive notes for our roommates.
So start noticing, what are you making? If the answer is nothing, sit down, have a glass of wine, and let go of the perfectionism. Make something that looks terrible, but tastes incredible. Write poetry that’s bad, really bad, but makes you feel good.
Make something. Make anything. And, when you do, share it in a story on Go Mighty with the tag #imadethis.
This project may already fit in with a goal on your Life List, but, if not, you can add ‘Make a few things with my hands’ to your list, and join in.
For the next two weeks, we’ll being featuring your creations on Go Mighty and, at the project’s end, Maggie Mason will select a few of her favorites to share in a wrap-up on Mighty Girl.
We’ll also be gifting a limited edition polaroid camera to one lucky doer. Covet.
Now go. Make something. We can’t wait to see what you create.
